Loved this place! The ice cream was super fresh and flavourful, and they had such a great variety to choose from. The staff were really friendly and made the whole visit feel fun and welcoming. Definitely my new go-to spot for a treat!
Decided to stop by for an ice cream after having dinner with friends I was telling me that this is the place to go to in Georgetown lot of interesting flavors but I just went with a plain Sundae twist with white chocolate fudge it was very good clean place would like to try the stuff the donuts next time
This place was perfection! After a long hike my husband, friends and I stopped by this place on our way home. It has such unique pairings! I initially thought that the vegan ice cream was sorbet, but it’s actually creamy dairy free soft serve! I’m super sensitive to dairy (which doesn’t usually stop me if there’s no good dairy free options) so this was such a delicious alternative! My sister got the Guava vegan flavour and it was good. My friends had their vanilla soft serve with toppings and they said it was phenomenal. My husband got a frosted lemonade and he would highly recommend it if you’re the lemon tart type! Overall a great experience for all of us. Service was good, and their washroom is super clean and has such cute wallpaper ??.
After a nice nature hike at Crawford Lake Conservation Area, made a quick stop at Whimsy Street Treats for some delicious frozen treats before heading back home (July 2020) Taro & Lime Gelato Twist ($4.00) with added sprinkles (+$0.75) is one of their NEW July flavours and it is vegan too! Lime was a bit tart for me but the taro balances it out. You can't go wrong with taro though ^^ This melts super fast outside, so be sure to lick it fast lol! Stuffed Cheesecake ($7.25) is a Whimsy Stacker made with vanilla soft serve, real creamy cheesecake stuffed in the bottom, topped with graham cracker crumbs, and strawberry drizzles! This one was my favourite! The cheesecake was a nice surprise at the end :D! Limited entry - ONE person or family is allowed inside at a time :) If you see someone in the shop, kindly wait outside. Face coverings are much appreciated! Can't wait to come back again to try their freshly baked donuts and other creations like Cookie Monster Whimsy Stacker!
I needed a pick me up after my terrible experience at a restaurant just down the street and Whimsy certainly delivered. 10/10 banger of a milkshake I wish I took a picture 3/5 for the echo in the room, loud voices of other customers gave me a headache
This is a quaint little store. The lavender lemonade ice cream was really good, but the s'mores g'lore was too sweet for my liking. As a little bonus compared to most other ice cream shops, Whimsy offers ice cream toppings for you to choose. Service isn't the fastest but the staff are friendly.
We attended the farmers market today and noticed whimsy was open. I got my sons a couple of sundaes; the billionaire brownie and something with cheesecake. They really enjoyed them. I tried a spoonful of each and I have to say the ice cream is really High quality and tasty. A little pricey but a good treat on a hot day. They have donuts too but it’s all standard donuts with really nice icing. No crullers, fritters etc. Definitely an ice cream place that sells donuts, not a donut place.
