Budget drivers beware* Although the service might be up to standard as stated in other reviews i cannot say the same for their quoting. The quote i received from this mechanic seemed a little too high so I went to a different mechanic across the street and to my surprise I was quoted almost exactly $1000 more than what it should have been with parts and labour. If money isn’t a problem they will definitely take care of you but if you’re tight definitely get more quotes.
I went there today at 8AM. The gentleman at the front office is doing an exceptional job. He took time to explain the rust proofing process both before and after the work done on my Honda CRV Hybrid. Can’t comment much on the actual rust proofing work done but people seemed professional and qualified for the rust protection. What I paid for included 2 free services - Tire Shine & Fast Wax, however, I’m not satisfied with the free services (refer to the photos). Krown does shakes in the doors and car body to spread the protection chemicals through the body, and of course underneath the car. There is a lot of dripping oil/chemical after the rust proofing as is evident in the photos. I also see a small black scratch :[ under the handle on the car but saw it only when I arrived back home.
Quality has gone down the drain. The new staff do a half ass job. Inside doors didn't get done, I brought it to the front desk guy, and he looked at it and gave me a free can of spray to do it myself.
Thanks to the team and especially Bruce for being so patient with me! Went in and had both of our minivans done for rust control, they only took an hour and by the looks of it they get to work as soon as you're finished checking in! Bruce answered all my questions in detail and cleared up any concerns I had, before and after the work was done, without a single complaint. Highly recommend this location, the team is friendly, extremely professional, and honest.
Made appointment with Bruce who was friendly and helpful. The team at Georgetown was very professional and provided me with excellent service. I will definitely be returning every year and look forward to taking advantage of some of their other services.
Had my car done with the krown spray. Excellent job! Was very pleased with the work done,and the detailed explanation about the procedure. I will be back yearly.
