Dhruv was the most helpful representative, 10/10 he made my experience here very positive, I have always felt overwhelmed and struggled with getting a phone or phone plans until I sat down with him! THANK YOU!
Sales associate called me the N-word. She said it was okay because she's brown.... Very much was not okay to be using that language ever. Would not recommend.
Lied to me every step of the process and sold me a phone under false pre-tenses. Bills they showed me in-store do not line up whatsoever with what was forwarded to me afterwards. My bill is now $40 more a month than what was initially showed to me at the store. They also forced me into buying a case and protection plan under the guise that it would give me a $70 rebate which they showed me the receipt for in store. Once I left they forwarded me emails with all the bills and this $70 rebate was no where to be found in what they forwarded me. When I called they said the $70 was credited to the account but I never received and they refuse to send me any receipts or proof that I was credited this money. Absolutely criminal what they did and I will be swapping providers as quickly as possible after I find a way out of this fraudulent deal they've locked me in.
Absolutely would NOT recommend. I had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life at this Telus location today. I was there for FOUR HOURS dealing with issue after issue, and I could honestly write a novel about the frustration and confusion I was put through. What upset me the most was the way the manager, Anita, handled things. She offered things she could not follow through on, changed her words multiple times, and left me feeling completely misled. As someone who genuinely values HONESTY and HELPING others, I found this experience INCREDIBLY disheartening. I’ve been a loyal Telus customer for almost 10 years, and I’ve never felt so disrespected. The way this company seems to go out of its way to tack on fees for basic services is outrageous. Today, they tried to charge me $70 just to transfer data from one phone to another — something that literally takes pressing two buttons. And on top of that, they also charged a $70 “connection fee” just to start my new plan — even though I’ve been with them for a decade. Apparently, this is standard for every customer, which is absolutely ridiculous. I can say with full certainty that I’m not the only one being treated this way. After sitting there for hours, I saw many other customers — mostly elders — dealing with similar issues. And what was even more upsetting is that Telus makes things so unnecessarily complicated with hidden fees, fine print, and confusing loopholes, that the reps can say anything and it sounds “official,” while customers are left dazed and unsure of what they’re agreeing to. It felt like people were being taken advantage of right in front of me. I left feeling gaslit, manipulated, disrespected, and emotionally drained. My biggest regret is not walking out sooner and going elsewhere. It got to a point that I just needed to get out of the store. But I will absolutely be looking into other providers after today. Save yourself the stress — I do NOT recommend this location at all.
I drove from Brampton to Gerogetown to port from Bell to telus. As per their policy they were suppose to open till 8(on wednesday) but to my surprise I found they closed at 7:48 which was ridiculous.
I was in the store to buy a Sim card. The girl said SIM $30 dollars but said it is listed for $15 at the website. She said, if I show it to her she will honor it, then I show her the price on the site. No I can't sell it to you for that. After she said it is going to be $20 dollars. She didn't honor the price. Sales associate at this store is after your money. Don't go to this telus store Location.
Best customer service ever!!! If you need a new phone or plan, go and see Nehal. I honestly can't say enough good things about him. A great, down to earth guy who worked hard to find us the best deal. A very grateful customer.
