After over a decade of shopping here I am so sad to even write a bad review but it is a must with the circumstances. I called today in regards to finding a new cat food Since my cats have been having some pretty bad allergies, and Vet says it is food induced. I informed That to the man I spoke with on the phone and I told him no seafood is an absolute must as there are seafood allergies in the house . He was very informative And let me know the options available, At the end he had recommend Origen - As this was over the phone, I had a family member pick it up for me. Once it arrived, I decided to read the ingredients just to make sure just to discover There are five different types of seafood in this food. I was pretty disappointed Considering I clarified there has to be absolutely no seafood. I then decide to call back and inform the new person via phone The situation and that I need a new recommendation of a food, I left my phone number and I asked to be contact when there were some options available. Not long after I get a call from the original representative that had said I must have “misunderstood” what he said because there is seafood in this food. I’m not quite sure how I could have misunderstood when I clearly said there can be no seafood in this food as there are allergies in the household. I can be understanding towards someone making an honest mistake, because it happens- but to have someone lie to me after they made a mistake that could’ve turned deadly in my household if I wasn’t to have read the ingredients is absolutely sickening. I could’ve called back and gone on of negligent this was and how sickening it was to have a employee lie instead of just saying a mistake was made However, that doesn’t seem to get very far nowadays so here I am left with no other option but to leave a review.
Good spot with lots of product variety, pet friendly and kind staff. The prices are decent, and you can find pretty much anything you might be needing.
I love this pet store! Staff are always so friendly and welcoming and I find they have the best variety of dog items! My pomsky Hiroshi loves going and is always happy to see the staff!
