Stopped in on a Monday evening. Trivia was happening and the atmosphere was great for a community-focused spot. I order the Yorkshire pudding on the recommendation of the bartender. It was excellent - like worth stopping in to eat. And the portion was actually gigantic. Worth a visit for the Yorkshire pudding.
Food was delicious. People at our table had to wait for drinks often, or more money would have been spent. Lots of whimsical signs around, made me smile..
Took over an hour to get food, as place was very busy. Waitress advised me and another person we would get a discount re waiting so long. Other six in group got there's very quickly
We were looking for a last minute dining option for 8 people and the Appalachian came through (as usual). The food is always excellent, Shelly is an outrageously amazing host, and the atmosphere is always fantastic. The live music was the added touch to an awesome evening.
Wonton nachos were amazing! Service, not so much. We went at an off-peak time and the server went for three smoke breaks in the 90min we were there. Not impressed. We were waiting quite a while for the bill because she was on her 3rd break.
I had ordered take out and I asked for gravy for the ZZZ top burger and never received it.and then fries are not cooked through enough I do like this place and will.never put it down but just tonight just not enough of my order
I went for some beer and nachos with my sister and fiance and had a fantastic experience, Anthony is a great server and friendly, food was great pricing and atmosphere was on point. Highly recommended. Ive been coming here a long time and Appalachian Pub & Eatery is always a good time.
